We're embarking on an important online video documentary project, an endeavor that gives you the chance to tell all of America what the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq are like for you, here at home. This is a unique and amazing opportunity to tell your story through only your voice, without the filter and spin of the media, in a non-partisan forum. The goal is solely to amplify your experience to the rest of America.

Active duty, reserve, National Guard, Veterans, husbands, wives, mothers, fathers and children of the men and women serving in Iraq and Afghanistan -- it's your chance to tell America what it's like: good and bad; personal victories and triumphs; struggles and sacrifices that are happening here at home, far beyond the battlefields in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Here are some of the stories you can tell, stories that only you know, but stories that have to be shared:

What's it like for you and your children when you're waiting for your husband or wife come back from Iraq or Afghanistan? When will they return? What do you tell your children? How do you cope and what's the first thing you'll do when they come home?
If an IED explodes in Iraq, what does it sound like in your home and your neighborhood? Does your heart skip a beat? Does if remind you of when you were deployed? Do you fear for your loved one who's deployed?
Are you about to be deployed? How does that feel? What will you do in the days leading to your departure?
What's it like adjusting to life after the battlefield? Is it easy? Is your family, community and country supportive? What's your biggest challenge?
Are you coming home soon? What's the first thing you'll do when you arrive? Are you a changed person? How?
